Sun's Out Policies
Scheduling
Private Swim Lessons may be purchased in packages of 4, 8, or 12. When scheduling, you will select a weekly time slot. This time slot will be reserved for you until you choose to discontinue lessons. All lessons are 30 minutes in length. If you prefer an hour-long lesson, you may schedule back-to-back lessons, but you will be charged for two lessons.
Payment
All online registration requires payment at the time of purchase. For lesson renewals, clients will receive an email invoice from Square. Payment may be completed online upon receipt of the invoice, but Sun's Out prefers payment in-person via cash or check. Payment must be made in full prior to or at the first scheduled lesson. Please make checks payable to Sun's Out Swim School LLC. Credit, debit, and ACH transactions are secured via Square.
Cancellations
Private Lessons may be cancelled with 24 hours notice. In this case, you will be able to schedule a make-up at no additional charge. Cancellations or no-shows without 24 hours notice will have the lesson deducted from their package. Only 2 make-ups may be carried on your account at any one time. Cancellations due to weather do not apply. Please see our Inclement Weather Policy for weather-related cancellations.
Refunds
If you are unhappy with your children's swim lessons for any reason please contact us immediately. We are committed to providing an unparalleled service. After the first lesson, packages become non-refundable in 4-lesson blocks. For example, if you purchase an 8-pack of lessons and request a refund after 2 lessons, a refund will be issued for only the final 4 lessons.
Inclement Weather
As an outdoor pool we are forced to close if lightning is present. The safety of our swimmers is our top priority so we will always err on the side of caution. If you are ever in doubt of whether or not your lesson is able to run, please contact us! If the weather turns during the first half of your lesson, you will be offered a make-up free of charge. If we're forced to stop during the second half, the lesson is deducted from your package.
